1. What problems or conflicts are presented in chapter one? Tao needing to find a rabbit is an obvious one; identify at least two more. He was drawing animals on the ground and he can't do that, also he was trying to give food to an animal. 2. Predict the resolution of each conflict. When he tells the tribe about him drawing
on the floor he might be kicked out of his
tribe, and if he tells his tribe about him
about giving food to the wolf they might
make him go hunt for a wolf.

What two important events happen in this chapter?
He gos out into the wild to look for a rabbit but it
takes him a while so he has to make camp in the
will by himself so he enoucnters the wolf dog again
and he sees it has bone in its mouth so he takes
it out. Also he dreams about him self drawing in a
cave, in the cave he draws animals in the wild and
how they react with each other.

1. What do Tao and Ram learn to do together?
They learn how to hunt together and where they can hunt.

Tao's mother was a very protective mother. She was a very good person and she cared about everybody in her family. She took care of Tao when everyone wanted him dead. She also risked her life to protect Tao from dieng at a young age. Also she didn't follow the rules of her tribe just to protect her son. The dog because it is the animal that he sees everyday.

That Tao was drawing on the cave walls. 3. Graybeard describes Volt differently than we have. What aspects of Volt's character is Graybeard acknowledging?
He explains that Volt is a nice person ,but when other people talk about him they say that he is a bad leader.

I disagree with Graybeard because Tao should be able to draw on the walls, also yes they had l can rules then and now they don't because its a free country.

I imagined a single mom that went to war without taking care of her babies, she went to Iraq.

Because he saw that Tao was a good cave painter. What does this tell you about his character?
This tells that he is a good person not a mean person like he was before.

I would'nt really want t be taught anything because i don't really like to draw.

Fish oil, animal fat, blood, and eggs, and the ingredient that surprised me the most was the fisk oil. 2. Why is Tao afraid at the end of the chapter?

1. Even if Ram had succeeded in hunting the deer, do you think it was a good idea of Tao's to "show off" his dog's ability to hunt? Explain.
No, because even if the dog did help hunt, Volt would still want to kill the wolf dog. 2. Predict what will happen next. If you've read ahead, invent an alternate scene.
I think that Tao is also going to cross the river because he wants to help Ram.

I was surprised because Volt always used to be mean to Tao but in this chapter he is really nice to Tao. Also Tao slayed the beast Saxon when he does this the people have respect for him. The most surpising thing in this chapter was that Tao finally figured out who his father is.........Volt!

Because he wants peolpe know that he is the next cave painter.
